New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, USA [7, 16] |
- Witnesses to the marriage ceremony were Fred V. Fauria, Laura Blanchard, and G. S. Wyndham.
According to the 1920 and 1930 censuses, Octave and Rita's eldest son (Lester) was born in New Orleans about 1902. Their second son (George) was born in New York about 1903; their third son (Octave) was born in Florida about 1906; their fourth son (William) was born in Canada about 1909) and the subsequent children (from 1912 onward) were born in Wisconsin, where they apparently finally settled.
The 1900 census indicates they have been married for 2 years, which cannot be correct. [5, 9, 11, 16]
