  	On this date he sold the undeveloped land to Sieur Francois Caminada. It is described in the Records of the Superior Council of New Orleans as measuring "about seven arpents [1344 feet] frontage by the usual depth of forty arpents [7680 feet], situated about eight leagues [about 27.6 miles] below this city [New Orleans] and on this side of the River. ... The purchase price was agreed upon in the sum of 2000 livres in colonial notes, plus one yoke of oxen." [Note discrepancy in record: although the sale of this land by Caminada to Sieur Jean Fenetou called Cavalier is recorded on 11 May, 1763, the text of the record indicates that Pierre Tassin sold it to Caminada on 21 Jun 1763. It is not known at this time whether this descrepancy is in the original records of the Superior Council or in the abstract printed by the Louisiana Historical Society.]
