      ...son of the late Charley and Angelina Chase, devoted brother of Charley and Samuel Chase , Lise Lecesne Bourgeau, Leo Lecesne Blanks, father-in-law of Leah Lange Chase, son-in-law of Mrs. Ermine Tenette, brother-in-law of David H. and Mrs. Vera Tenette Davis, Mrs. Mercedes Chase and Mrs. Jeanne Lecesne, Mrs. Beatrice Chase and Ferdinand Bourgeau, cousin of Mrs. Agnes Franklin and Stella Martin, grandfather of Emily, Stella, Leah and Edgar Chase III and Kail Davis, uncle of Delores and Eric Brazil, Gloria Wright, Donald Bourgeau and Verda D. Gray, David Davis Jr., also survived by many other relatives and other friends.

      Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Dooky Chase's Restaurant, officer and members of Knight of Peter Claver Council No. 50, St. Catherine of Siena Court No. 21, Holy Name Society of St. Peter Claver, Jeaune Protege Association, Autocrat Club, Viking Club, Frontiers of America, Urban League, NAACP, Ladies of Joy, Square Deal Social Club, General Longshoreman's Local No. 1949, I.L.A., faculty and student body of Dillard, Xavier and Southern universities and all friends are cordially invited to attend the wake, which will take place this Sunday night, February 23, 1955, at the Louisiana Undertaking Co., Inc., 1449 N. Claiborne Ave., and funeral on Monday, February 24, 1958, at 2 o'clock p.m. Religious services from the parlor, Rev. Robert D. Hill officiating.

      Interment in St. Louis No. 2 cemetery, Louisiana Undertaking Co., Inc., in charge.
