      DOBARD -- At the residence, 1521 Dumaine street, on Wednesday, August 3, 1955, at 11:20 o'clock a.m., LOUIS DOBARD, beloved husband of Mrs. Cornelia Carrere Dobard; father of Mrs. Celina Brown, Mrs. Annie Douglas and Mrs. Cecile Duplessis; grandfather of Mrs. Eartha Douglas Thomas of Oakland, California; brother of Joseph, Oliver and Frank Dobard, Mrs. Cecile Hill and Mrs. Elvira Dobard; father-in-law of Percy Brown and Victor Duplessis. Deceased also survived by other relatives and friends.
      Relatives and friends of the family, also officer and member of the General Longshoremen Workers Union Local 1419, I.L.A. office personnel and employeees of M. Trelles and Co.; Sisters of Xavier university and New Orleans Public School Teachers, are respectufully invited to attend the wake services on Sunday night at the Carr and Llopis Mortuary, 1620 Dumaine street near N. Clairborne avenue from when the funeral will take place on Monday, August 8, 1955, at 8:30 o'clock a.m., Claver church.
      Interment in St. Louis cemetery No. 3 on Esplanade avenue.
