«/b» Mrs. Blanche Troullier Porter Tenette, age 53, on Saturday, July 26, 1986 at 10:26 p.m., beloved wife of Joseph A. Tenette; mother of Louis Porter II; daughter of Mrs. Mamie E. Troullier; sister of Leonard Troullier, Jr. and Martes E. Troullier; stepmother of Valerie T. Johnson; step grandmother of Tory J. McDonald and Troy Jessie; step great-grandmother of Christopher McDonald; mother-in-law of ?ayn Bell Porter; also survived by other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also paster, officers and members of Grace United Methodist Church, Greater Tulane Baptist Church and employees of New Orleans Public Schools, are invited to attend the wake and eulogy on Wednesday, July 30, 1986 at 8:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 2001 Iberville St. Rev. William R. London, Jr. officiating. Dismissal on Thursday, July 31, 1986 at 9:30 a.m.
Interment Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.

«b»Blance Troullier Porter Tenette, «/b»a retired public school teacher of 27 years, died Saturday after a brief illness. She was 53. Mrs. Tenette, a life-long resident of New Orleans, graduated from McDonogh 35 Sentio High School and Dillard University, and attended the University of Southern California. She was a member of Grace United Methodist church where she was on the Communion Steward Board and was church historian. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and was listed in the 1975 Who's Who Among Black Americans and the 1979 World Who's Who of Women. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Tenette; a son, Louis Porter II; a stepdaughter, Valerie T. Johnson; her mother, Mamie E. Troullier; and two brothers, Leonard J. and Mertes E. Troullier.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, 2001 Iberville St. Dismisal will be held at 9:30 a.m. thursday at Grace United Methodist Church and burial will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Louisiana Undertaking Co. is in charge of arrangements. ###
