The information I have shows Pedro as the son of Pierre and Modeste Maxent, alias Modeste Baptiste. Pierre was baptised in Mobile in 1770 at the same time as the second Jean baptiste born to J.B. and Francoise Guillory.

Sacramental records for New Orleans indicate that Pedro was born 11 Jan 1810 and baptised on 12 Feb. 1810. Sponsors were Pablo Martina and Luisa Lana. His mother is Modesta Bautista, native of N.O. Of interest is Pierre's brother Joseph's partner whose name is Rosalie Maxent.
