      DOBARD -- On Tuesday, May 6, 1958, at 10:30 o'clock a.m., LEONARD DOBARD, son of the late Phrosper (sic) Dobard and Leontine Cosse; brother of the late Leo, Leon, Albert Dobard and Mrs. Nora Martin. Age 69 years. A native of New Orleans, La.
      Relatives and friends of the family, also employes of Southport Club and New Orleans Baseball Association, are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, May 8, 1958, from the auxiliary funeral home of Jacob Schoen and Son, Inc., 3827 Canal street at North Scott.
      Interment in St. Louis cemetery No. 5.
      Due notice of time will be given. ###

      «b»Police Take Three Alleged Handbook Operators in Raids«/b»
      Two handbook raids by police from the First Precinct station netted three alleged operatives Thursday afternoon.
      Captain David Jackson, with Patrolmen Walter Noustena and Richard Durnin, found Leonard Dobard, 39 years old, 937 Picheloup Place, at 938 Common street, at a table with a quantity of racing paraphernalia in front of him and a group of men around him. Police also arrested John Young, 43, Victoria hotel, whom they booked as the proprietor of the place.
      The same officers entered the soft drink stand at 1520 Canal street, arrested William Doyle, 36, 1028 St. Peter street and booked him on a similar charge. A quantity of handbook equipment was found. ### [18]
