      DOBARD--On Saturday morning, May 6, 1967, at 5:15 o'clock, EDWARD J. DOBARD; husband of Lillian Barry; brother of Harold Dobard of New Orleans, La., and the late Oscar and Rene Dobard; son of the late Albert Dobard and Marie Claverie.
      Funeral from the House of Bultman, St. Charles Ave. at Louisiana Ave. on Monday morning, May 8, 1967, at 11:45 o'clock followed by Requiem Mass at St. Alphonsus Church, 2030 Constance St.
      Interment in Hope Mausoleum.
      Friends of the family, also officers, directors and employees of N.B.C. Banks are invited to attend the service at the church.

      N.O. Banker Was Well Known in State«/b»
      Funeral sefrvices for Edward J. Dobard, vice-president of the National Bank of Commerce of New Orleans, were conducted Monday at the House of Bultman. Interment was at Hope Mausoleum.
      Mr. Dobard died Saturday at Baptist Hospital after a short illness.
      Well known among bankers in the state, Mr. Dobard's career started in 1933 with the old Louisiana Bank and Trust Co which in 1955 merged with the National Bank of Commerce in New Orleans.
      He was an active member of the New Orleans Athletic Club, Military Order of the World Wars and the Navy League of the United States and was a trustee of the Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University.
      During World War II, Mr. Dobard attained the rank of lieutenant commander in the Naval Reserve. He was a graduate of the School of Banking of the South and attended Tulane University. Mr. Dobard was a native of New Orleans.
      He is survived by his widow, the former Lillian Barry. [17]
