      BARBARIN -- Elbert J. (Pascal) Barbarin, on Wednesday, February 18, 1987, beloved husband of the late Eula Mae Barbarin; son of the late Walter Barbarin Sr and the late Francesca Fauria Barbarin; brother of Mr. Lloyd Bennett, Mr. Alfred Barbarin, Mrs. Ida Deransburg, Mrs. Yvonne Bechet and the late Mr. Walter Barbarin; brother-in-law of Mr. Henry Deransburg, Mr. Joseph Bechet, Mrs. Gloria Barbarin and the late Mrs. Gabrielle Bennett and the late Mrs. Victoria Barbarin; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
      Relatives and friends of the family, also Retired Pullman Porters, members of the Autocrat Club, City Park Golf Club, Charity Hospital and C. V. Harold Rubber Co., are invited to attend the funeral.
      Services from the Carr-Llopis & Boissiere Mortuary, 1620 Dumain St. near N. Claiborne Ave. (parking in rear), on Monday, February 23, 1987 at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter St., at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday, February 22, 1987 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 p.m.
