      «b»Mr. and Mrs. Prosper Dobard«/b»
On Sunday, Jan. 10, there was celebrted the twenty-fifth anniversary of the wedding of Prosper Dobard and Leontine Causse (sic), formerly of Plaquemines parish. The residence of the celebrants, on Chartres street, was tastefully decorated for the occasion and a host of friends were present to congratulate them.
The presents were numerous, appropriate and costly. Among the remembrances was a pretty silver tea set, from the members of the Echo Social Club, a popular organization composed of young ladies and gentlemen of the Second and Third districts. Mr. J.M. Lamare was spokesman for the club, and delivered an address appropriate to the occasion.
Mr. and Mrs. Dobard have led a happy and prosperous life, and five children, four boys and one girl, are the fruits of their matrimonial life.
Mr. and Mrs. Dobard were liberal hosts, and the evening was delightfully spent by all who participated. Among those present were ... [and there follows a long list of individuals]. ### [2]
