      «i»Body of Missing Ex-Service Man Is Found in River
      «/i»The body of Randolph Martin Harris, 34-year-old ex-service man, who had been missing from his home at 1613 Pauger Street since last Thursday morning was found floating in the Mississippi river near Mandeville street at 2:30 a. m. Monday.
      George Durel and E. Peterson, members of the crew of a patrol boat, saw the body floating and brought it to the Esplanade avenue wharf.
      Harris, who lived with his mother, Mrs. Lena Stoleman (sic), served 30 days as a privte in Headquarters Company 165th Infantry, and was honorably discharged on December 2 for physical disability.
      At the cith morgue, the body was identified by Christopher Teal, 1316 Pauger street.
      Besides his mother, Harris is survived by a brother, Ralph O. Harris. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p. m. Monday from the funeral home of E. J. Ranson and Sons, Inc., 1024 Elysian Fields avenue. Interment was in St. Vincent de Paul cemetery. [1]
