      VROMAN
      PRESTON -- Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 20, 2005, in her favorite chair at home.
      Bonnie was born in Mapleton, Idaho, on July 17, 1928, to Henry Rudolph Dursteler and Clemma Drusilla Long. She was the eighth child in their large family of 11 children.
      She grew up with her brothers and sisters working her dad's farm and riding her horses. She loved working outside with her dad rather than working inside with her mother. After graduation from Preston High School, she married Merle Lee Vroman, and they started their married life and family in Battle Creek, Mich. After the birth of their third child, they moved back to Idaho to be close to her family. To this union, five more children were born.
      Bonnie's biggest joys were her children, grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild. She showed her love with hand-quilted quilts and handwork pieces for each and every one of them. She also loved to keep her hands in the dirt and she produced beautiful flower gardens wherever she lived.
      She will be missed by those she loved and those that loved her: her children, Mary (Larry) Billeter of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Shirley Vroman Wilson of Salt Lake City, Diane (Henry) Sickler of Richmond, Patty (Dennis) Ottley of McCammon, Idaho, Michael (Vada) Vroman of Preston and Tammla (Paul) Read of Elko, Nev.; her 26 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
      She is also survived by her brothers, Dale (Cora) Dursteler of Soda Springs, Idaho, and Leo (Shirley) Dursteler of Soda Springs; sisters, Jean Maisey of Williston, N.D., and Zoey Dursteler of Boise, Idaho; and sisters-in-law, Conna Dursteler and Vinora Dursteler, both of Preston.
      She will be welcomed to heaven by her parents; her husband; her son, Victor Lee Vroman; a baby daughter; three grandsons, Timmy Austin, Charlie Johnson and Troy Lee Goodwin; and brothers, Joel, Ed, Glenn, Randall, Donald and Darrell Dursteler.
      The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to their mother's best friend, Tamara Austin, for her loving care and concern.
      Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, in the Winder Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Tylor Johnson conducting. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Whitney Cemetery. ###
